Mgr. Vojtěch Hlavatý, Head Flood Modeler and Climate Change Expert, Intermap Technologies, Inc. Vojtěch Hlavatý is an experienced natural hazard modeler with a strong background in hydrology and climate change assessment. Since joining Intermap Technologies in 2020, he has played an essential role in flood hazard mapping across multiple regions, leading large-scale projects in Croatia, Slovenia, and Bulgaria while also contributing to flood hazard mapping of Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Serbia. His work specializes in hydrodynamic modeling in HEC-RAS, and he has introduced innovative methodologies for hydro-enforcement and water-flattening of digital elevation models, significantly improving flood simulation accuracy. Mr. Hlavatý is also deeply engaged in evaluating the impacts of climate change on natural hazards. He holds a master’s degree in Physical Geography and Geoecology with a major in Hydrology from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
